The Maverick

 

A maverick, according to the dictionary upon my desk, is one who refuses to be governed by the "norms" of the herd. I think that that is a reasonable name to apply to me.

 

Just look around you at the World today. Can you honestly say that what mankind is doing and has been doing for the last 2000 years or so is really working for everybody? Are disease, poverty, hunger, pollution, ignorance, hate, persecution, intolerance, arrogance, lying, abuse, murder, misery, loneliness and much more rare exceptions or are they such normal everyday things that they, mostly, don't even rate a mention in the local press? They are, however, the norms by which we are, conventionally, required to live. Given this, I am very happy to be called a maverick.

 

This why I chose the circumstances of my birth - to lead me to reject anything to which I am "required" to give unquestioning obedience. There is no way that I can accept and live by the norms of this world society. On the contrary, the whole of my life is dedicated to helping others to step out of this torment.

 

All you really need to do is remove the blinkers and the dark glasses, take a good long look at what is really going on and seek ways to change it. You will find them just as I have.
